Hi, I'm Dana.
I've been working in the food & hospitality industry since 2014 and I am the face behind Bay Dish.
Inspired by the incredibly innovative and hardworking chefs and makers surrounding me in the San Francisco Bay Area, I founded Bay Dish in 2018. It is a means of celebrating the people that bring food to our table, and who have contributed to the dynamic culinary landscape we are lucky to have here.
I have worked in the industry in a variety of capacities. I grow the audience for restaurants and food brands and help them receive well earned media recognition through my role as a publicist and social media marketer. I partner with chefs throughout the Bay Area to organize and execute educational events for both adults and kids. I create engaging content and develop accompanying recipes for brands, and help food makers show off their stunning creations as a photographer and content marketer.

What I Do
Food Photography & Recipe Development
I love to capture chefs’ creations at their best. I have shot for restaurants all over the Bay Area including Agave Uptown, Playt, Ala Mar, and more. I am currently the primary content creator and a recipe developer for a national food brand, and have worked with other photographers as a food stylist for other brands.

Social Media Strategy, Marketing and Public Relations
Social Media Marketing is a specialty of mine. I can work with your business to build your content library, develop your brand voice, and grow your audience to reach new customers. I can also develop your marketing strategy with strategic partnerships.
I have worked with many food brands like Go Raw, Amy’s Kitchen, Organic Valley, Pearls Olives, and more, to achieve their marketing goals through influencer partnerships, press outreach, and brand collaborations.
Community
Outreach
Building and celebrating community is a core value of mine and is the undercurrent in all of my work. I love to bring people together through food, connecting everyone in my network to opportunity when I can. I founded The Nourishment Fund in June 2020 for this exact reason.
I am also a publicist for Women Sound Off, helping foster recognition for the organization’s success and advancing its mission to support women and non-binary creatives in the Bay Area.
